· collaborate with the digital architect to define electronics architecture
· owns the detailed deisgn, development and verification of high speed digital pcas.
· minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in high speed digital design, memory subsystems and high speed communication links

· english language proficiency
desired qualifications:
· fpga design and verification workflows, specifically in computer buses.hardware description languages such as verilog or vhdl.validates pca integration en el printer
· interacts with asic and fpga designers to define its design and intefraces

reqiured qualifications:
· master´s degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering or physics with electronics specialization.

· experience in development through design outsourcing
· familiar with high volume manufacturing processes and design for manufacturing guidelines
· familiar with operating systems such as linux

we are looking for an experienced digital designer for the r&d department of hp's large format printing business. the senior digital designer will be responsible for the development of the digital printing engines and its integration in our future printers.
key duties and responsibilities:
the senior digital designer will be responsible for the following:
· identify and compile design requirements for his/her subsystem
· select design alternatives based on analysis of requirements and specifications.the candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary development team located both in barcelona and other international locations, working towards common and technically challenging objectives.
