- the structural assessment of new structural concepts in offshore wind turbines foundations (fixed and floating).
- general knowledge of structural mechanics, manufacturing and construction processes.
- development of guidelines and deisgn and structural assessment strategies of offshore foundations for fixed and floating wind turbines in innovation. risk base anaylsis should be employed, also.
- development of advanced structural concepts and systems in wind turbine design according functionality, reliability and cost targets.
- development of founadtion (soil-structure interaction) tools to couple offshore substructure to a soil-structure representation.
