about us ge power generation services (pgs), part of energy business, is engaged globally in service contracts that range from 1 to
20+ years, for heavy duty combined cycle power plants.
essential responsibilities pgs europe is a $1.5b revenue business comprising of short term transactional services (parts, repairs and field services) and
long term contractual services agreements, in over 30 countries across the region. major responsibilities include:
- provide leadership in all financial processes such as session planning (gpb, s2, op), (quarterly) closing, weekly pacing,
margin reviews and continuous variance analysis on key business metrics
- support regional leadership to drive profitable growth and meet portfolio targets through proactive analysis (like exw and mmp
tracking, planned/unplanned activities timing shifts)
- drive cash metrics reporting to ensure early visibility of potential items at risks and promote resolution plans
- ensure process regional coordination and promote rigor/efficiency
- review finance activities in line with contract t&c\'s and maange account reconciliation process
qualifications/requirements - bachelor\'s degree in finance or business
- minimum 5 years of experience in a financial position
- proactive attitude to simplify processes and tools
- commitment to excellence and team working
- proficiency in microsoft office applications
- effective communication sklils
- abiilty to manage simultnaeously mulitple takss
deisred charactreistics - six simga green belt certfiied (only for ge stfaf)
- excellent analtyical sklils with abiilty to see the detials as well as the big picutre
- demontsrated abiilty to communicate financial information to all levels of the organization
