role summary/purpose the lead supplier quality engineer will manage all supplier quality activities for the assigned sites, with special focus on supplier approval, qualification, continuous improvement, and issue resolution activities.
drvie all sqe-reltaed actiivties within new proudct introduction proecss to understand design intent and techincal requierments and to ensure sqe npi deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.this will be a key role to proactively mitigate risks and drive supplier performance excellence for the busniess.

minimum 5+ years leadership expeirence.
establish and drive supplier qualification and surveillance strategy for suppilers based on buy volume, defect history, and npi programs and ensure strategy is directly aligned with business priorities and needs, single/sole source suppliers.and improve supplier process capabilities for identified ctqs/ctps to include conducting regular design and drawing reviews with ge and supplier engineering teams,
establish program to identify, monitor.
minimum 5+ years sourcing, quality, engineering, or manufatcuring expeirence.rca,
develop and lead critical supplier quality updates to senior leadership on all supplier metrics, and npi programs.
results driven and self directed.
highly motivated and able to manage multiple projects at once.
provide technical guidance to suppliers in order to ensure product and process compliance to ge draiwngs and specifciations.
work closely with internal ge stakeholders such as sourcing, quality, manufatcuring, and engineering as well as with external stakeholders to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements.

establish and drive key es supplier quality initiatives across the supply base to include supplier dashboards (pq% & dpmo), gb.sourcing, and quality teams, manufacturing,

ba/bs technical or business dergee or equiavlent experience
strong backrgound in interpertation of engineering drawings/specifications.

drive contniuous improevment activities at suppliers to include product quality, and delivery performance through use of standard metrics, six sigma.
you must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.fvt/ict
testing, brazing,
extensive background in applicable engineering processes/techniques to include: tooling, and soldering, ndt.
ability to keep business leaders and peers informed about strategies/plans that will affect them.
drive supplier process change control for the supply base to ensure no defects escape to ge or its customers.

in-depth knowledge of internal auditing and/or iso 9001:2000 standard.and corrective action actions, root cause analysis,
